We have Basic Skills Trainers (BST) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR) to engage recipients in regaining skills and abilities necessary to live independent and self-directed lives
Basic Skills Trainer (BST)
Why might someone request BST Services?
BST’s are for individuals that live with cognitive and/or behavioral impairments that directly affect their everyday life. They use a variety of training techniques to assist the recipient achieve their highest level of functioning.
What are the services provided?
- Organization & time management skills
- Partial-/Fully-independent living skills
- Parental training
- Identification/comprehension the physical, emotional and interpersonal needs of others
- Communicate their physical, emotional and interpersonal needs to others
- Listen/Identify the needs of others
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)
Why might someone request PSR Services?
PSR services are designed to reduce psychosocial dysfunction. PSR workers empower the recipient to achieve their highest level of psychological functioning within a variety of social settings.
What are the services provided?
- Behavioral Management
- Build boundaries and gain confidence in their interpersonal-social skills

- Communicate personal, interpersonal, emotional, and physical needs
